Pint of beer being poured

draft basics

Beer clean glassware is important for great draft beers! Use a detergent designed for beer glassware. Room temperature glasses are best!

Foam is caused primarily from temperature. Every beer has a unique formula, which is why some draft beers foam before others. If you have a foam problem, check the beer coming out of the faucet is 37-39 degrees with a thermometer. Reading a cooler temperature setting is not an accurate reading for the liquid.

A pint of beer will take approximately 6-7 seconds to pour.

The draft tower faucet should not touch any part of the glass, at any point in the pour.
